Hello Bob,
I'm sorry I didn't write to you in a long time but we were renovating the house. My parents were renovating the furniture in the kitchen, so I helped them a lot. In addition, they painted walls in other rooms. It was hard work but luckily we are done.
This week a new boy joined our class. He studies well, but he is not a quiet classmate because he talks all the time. He was making me nervous. However, I did talk to him on the way home and he turned out to be very friendly. I made an appointment with him to the cinema next weekend.
I have to go now, write back quickly.
