At a certain age, one’s child starts to require more space and freedom from their authorities - in this case, we are speaking of parents in particular. Now, this can lead to various problems, especially if the parents are not ready to let go of their children’s dependence on them. The vast majority of teenagers tend to prove their separateness with rebellion, which includes things as insignificant and unrecognizable such as wearing makeup, to outright vandalism and drug abuse. However both of these examples, although varying greatly from each other tend to trigger adults in many ways. This subsequently leads to arguments and misunderstandings with one side simply not comprehending what happened to their youngsters, and the other refusing to make any further explanation for their behavior in a fear of being misunderstood and treated wrongly.
