Tworzenie zdań w stronie biernej (Passive Voice) polega na użyciu operatora "be" w formie właściwej dla danego czasu oraz III formy czasownika. Wykonawcę czynności podkreśla się przez użycie określenia "by".

  • Podmiot + "to be" odmienione właściwie dla danego czasu + czasownik w III formie (Past Participle) + reszta zdania (+ by + wykonawca).

Przykład:

  • Active: People speak English all over the world.
  • Passive: English is spoken all over the world.
