gathered a considerable number of original minds and developed to the highest degree certain characteristics of the epoch, as especially the volatile philosophical imagination.
Each of the great German philosophers included in this current created his own system of thinking and influenced not only the Romantic era itself, but became permanently inscribed in the significant achievements of the history of philosophy. It can be said that the philosophy of Romanticism begins with Johan Gottlieb Fichte, and the next important thinkers are Friedrich Wilhelm Schelling and finally Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. The time frame of the philosophy of Romanticism is between the early 19th century and the late 1930s (Hegel dies in 1831).
