Hanna: Why are you shouting, Peter? And why are you standing on that chair?
Peter: There's a huge spider under the table over there! Can you see it! It's bigger than a frog! And much scarier!
Hanna: Don't worry - that's Gonzo, my pet tarantula.
Peter: Really? Well, you've got the most unusual pet! Are tarantulas poisonous?
Hanna: They are, but Gonzo isn't dangerous. Actually, he's friendlier and nicer than the hamster I had two years ago.
Peter: Have you got any other pets?
Hanna: No, but I'd really like to have goldfish. I think they're the most beautiful animals.
Peter: I prefer dogs. Maybe they're not as interesting as tarantulas and not as colourful as goldfish, but I still think they're the best pets of all.
Hanna: Dogs are a lot of work! You have to take them for walks every day.
Peter: Yes, that's probably the most difficult thing about having a dog, but it's not as bad as you think. I really enjoy going out, and now I'm much healthier than I was before.
