Present Perfect Continuous podkreśle, a Present Perfect Simple pogrubie :)
1. Some of them have already been there for thousands of
years. The Egyptians have been building them on
the west side of the River Nile since about 2500 BC.
They have built them there because they believe it
is the Land of the Dead.
2. Tim Berners - Lee has already started his new World Wide Web
project and has created the first few webpages. A few universities have been working on the project too, but the public hasn't seen the webpages yet.
3. The temperature has dropped to freezing and the sea is
full of huge icebergs. Someone has just shouted a
warning about them, but no one has told the
captain of the ship yet. There are more than 2200 people on board the ship and it has been sailing for
the past five days. It has already started sinking.
4. Rodrigo de Triana has just seen the New World for the first
time. He has been on the Pinta since it left the
Canary Islands. The Pinta is sailing with the Niña
and Santa Maria, whose captain is Christopher
Columbus. This is his first voyage to the New World,
but he hasn't reached land yet.
