In my opinion, the most serious problem in the EU is immigration, because many people need to travel to another country and they can't because of f.e. racial and ethnic tension or countries like France blocking access to their country to outsiders. These people suffer from a lack of money, hunger, or even war on their native territory, and they cannot find another place to live because of the problems mentioned above.
