Cassie de Peco had a dream. She wanted to visit every country on the planet. Most people just dream, but 27-year-old Cassie was different. She quit her job and on 24th July, 2015, she started her journey around the world. Going to every country in the world isn't cheap. It actually cost Cassie almost $200,000. She managed to get a lot of the money from sponsors. She also received some free nights at hotels for advertising them on her Instagram. But her journey wasn't just luxury hotels and beautiful beaches. Cassie spent most of her time talking to students in each country about environmentally-friendly tourism, meeting with politicians and collecting water samples to test for the presence of microplastics. During the trip, Cassie broke two Guinness World Records. She visited 196 countries in the shortest time and she was the first woman to do that.
