1) I think it is not true for all of the teenagers, because not everyone is the same and also not everyone values the same things equally.

2) Because not everyone is the same it also means there are teenagers who who are interested in economics, just as it was in the past and also not everyone buys the same things.

3)  Because there are teenagers who are interested in economy and also not everyone buys the same things the argument saying all of them don't realise the value of money isn't valid - the value of money mus also be part of their interests and such generalisation is unfair.
