My IT-related day started off as completely inconspicuous, like many other days. I got up kicking by accident my dog, which bit my toe, also probably by accident, although looking deeply in his eyes I could see sinister sparks indicating, however, the intentionality of the act just committed. Then I ate breakfast and sat down at the computer. I used the keyboard to enter the password which turned out to be wrong. Unbelieving what I was seeing, I used the mouse to try to reset the system, which also turned out to be impossible because for some unspecified reason it abruptly disobeyed me and would not follow any of my commands. Despite such heavy losses, I picked myself up from the fall and took up an uneven fight with the machine. Using my own hand I did a hard reset and suddenly the whole nightmare was over. At least that is what I believed when it turned out that the printer was not working because the ink had run out and the scanner was simply not responding. Fortunately, I still had a free memory stick to which I could transfer my document and print it outside the house. Nothing compares to dealing with IT.
