A study was carried out last week, designed to measure how many people like nuts in their chocolate. The findings were very surprising. Chocolate without nuts rated much more highly than chocolate without nuts.
The survey also established that more than 30 percent of people who responded had, or knew someone who had an allergy to nuts. Nut allergies seem to be becoming a big issue and this research, carried out for chocolate manufacturers, agrees with scientists who say that our immunity to allergies is weakening.
This may, of course, explain why, according to the survey, chocolate without nuts was more popular than chocolatw with nuts.
