Easter is a christian holiday celebrated in Poland in honor of the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the oldest and most important of all Christian holidays. It came from the Jewish Passover (pascha, żydowskie święto). Easter is a movable holiday, every year it occures on a different day in March or April.
