I don't agree. In my opinion early years are to learn and prepare for work. Without appropriate education they won't be able to find a good job and earn descent salary. As a consequence, they won't achieve as much as they could.
On the other hand, not everybody is gifted and wants to learn. Those prefer working to studying which enables them to become independent early. A lot of businesspeople started their career without education which didn't disable them to make great money. Resourcefulness is what really matters. I personally not always deal with my assignments yet I can find those who do. Nevertheless, it's me who is gratified. Isn't it an example of entrepreneurial attitude?
To sum up, I'd say education is important, but even the best education can't guarantee a success, which depends on much more than just knowing how to solve an equation or how to write an essay.
