My birthday was last Saturday. It was my 16th birthday, which I had been looking forward to for a very long time.
Fortunately, my day fell on a Saturday so I was able to celebrate it without being absent from school. I got up early in the morning and started preparing for my birthday party.
My family and closest friends showed up at the birthday party. I got a lot of presents and flowers. My mom and I prepared sandwiches, salads and baked cakes. It was my best birthday ever!
