Białogórski Park Narodowy
The name of the park comes from the Babia Gora. The park is characterized by its small scale and numerous lakes. This small mountain escape is rich in wild life of all kinds which can be admired on foot or from above on a cableway, or from deep within its crystal clear waters through diving.
Białogorski Park Narodowy is situated farthest north of Poland's National Parks and offers scenic views over the Białe Mountains.ra, which rises at an altitude of 1725 m above sea level. in the Western Beskids. Babiogórski PN was established in 1954, currently its area is 33, 90 sq m. A dense network of brooks has developed in the park. The symbol of the park is the plant - okrzyn deer. Together with the Alpine horn, they are one of the most important specimens in this area. As far as animals are concerned, this area is inhabited by, among others wild boar, deer, roe deer, foxes, wolves, brown bears. You can also observe eg kestrel or capercaillie.
