I have been volunteering in a local shelter for four years. At first, it was something I did to spend more time with my school friends. Now I can't imagine a week without it. I go there at least once a week for at least two hours. Usually I take one or two dogs for a long walk. Last time I've opened a cage to take a dog out, he ran past me in a great hurry. I thought it was because he was really excited to go out, but he ran straight to the cage where another dog was lying. I found out that they used to be in one cage. This dog didn't want to go out without his pal!
