When I was younger, I lived with my parents, brother and sister in a small house. It wasn't big enough for all of us, and my brother, sister and I all slept in one small room. We didn't have much furniture in the room, just three beds and wardrobe. And we couldn't make cakes, cook or eat meals together in the kitchen, because it was only big enough for one person! Today, we live in a much bigger house. It's nicer than the old house – it even has a balcony - and it's in a more expensive part of town. In my bedroom I've got a bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a sofa, and there are lots of cool posters on the walls. Downstairs, our kitchen is enormous, with a big table and lots and lots of cupboards, and we've got a big living room with lots of armchairs and sofas and an enormous TV. My mum agrees that the old house was too small, but she thinks the people in that part of town were friendlier. She says the people in our new neighbourhood aren't as nice. Still, she's happy that we can all sit in the kitchen and eat at the same time - we couldn't do that in the old house! Mum says the best thing for her is when all the family is together. as nice big enough cheaper enough less friendly too small 1 Tomek's old house was for the family 2 His bedroom wasn't for him, his brother and sister. 3 His old house is in a of town. 4.
