q = a₃/a₂ = a₂/a₁= -3/9 = 9/(- 27) = - 1/3 = - 1/3

q = a₃/a₂ = a₂/a₁= 1/(1/4) = (1/4)/(1/16) = 1 * 4 = 1/4 * 16 = 4 = 4
