Hey everyone. I have chosen to post here to take on the topic of gift lists. The thought prompted me to do so after seeing my best friend's wish list. I believe that this is not a very good idea. The gift is meant to be a gesture, not an unimaginable support. Such gifts will only get the bride and groom to get what they want, which is unhealthy in the realities of our world. A friend of mine once bought his sister a gift from the list and so my sister has no condensation to ask for anything at every opportunity and goes into a real frenzy when refused. Sure, such letters can make our choice easier and allow us to avoid a situation in which the gift is wrong, but it is very shallow and it is very easy for the buyer to avoid any efforts in choosing a gift for a loved one. Also, if you want to create gift lists, go ahead, but I advise against if you care about something more than just money and gifts. Regards
