Do you think you have too much
housework?
Perhaps you should think about how much
children around the world 'have to / needn't do.
In most countries, students 'needn't / have to
clean the classroom themselves. But in Japan,
students must / don't have to clean for 10-20
minutes after lessons a few days a week.
In many other countries, children have to /
mustn't collect water for their families. Sometimes
they don't have to / need to walk for hours a day,
because there is no river close to their home.
Many Chinese parents are quite strict about some
things, but in general, Chinese children 'needn't/
mustn't do any housework. Instead, they have to
/don't have to study hard for long hours.
In India, boys mustn't/ don't have to do much
housework, but they help their fathers earn
money.
Do you still think you have too many
responsibilities?
