VINCENT VAN GOGH biography

Vincent van Gogh was a famous painter. He was born on March 30, 1853 in Netherlands.His father was a pastor. He had six siblings. He was the oldest of the siblings . They lived in Zundert (small village in Netherlands). When he was eleven, he started going to boarding school. Suddenly, he stopped himself education in middle of second year high school. After that he started working in Goupil&Cie. Four years later his brother started working in this company too. Later Goupil&Cie moved him to London and next to Paris. In France and England he visited the museums and watched art. He was tired for working, so he stopped working. He tried diffrent jobs, but they were bad for him. Finally he lived with parents. In this time he didn’t making money,his brother – Theo send money for him. He only drawn, painted and sketched. In the end of the year he moved for his cousin. Then he returned to his parents again. After that he try to sold him first painting – „De aardappeleters”. Nobody liked his painting. He moved for Paris again. In France his painting changed, his paintings were more colorful and cheerful. Next he moved for Arles. There he met Paul Gauguin - artist with he wanted start group artist what painting in different style. After one having an argument with Paul, Vincent cut off a piece of himself ear. Then he went to a psychiatric hospital, where he painted many of his famous paining. He moved to the Theo house. In this place he found peace. He painted with nature. Unfortunately from one walk he came back with a cut in his stomach. There was an infenction in the cut and he’s died.

Now his painting is very popular in the world. His paintings are shown at exhibitions and viewed by hundreds of people. Artist around the world know who he was and what he was doing.
