I think that our local council could introduce rubbish segregation. People should put different materials like paper, plastic or metal into separate bins. It would be easier to recycle them later.
Secondly, the council could ban all cars from the city centre. It would reduce the number of cars going to the city centre. As a result, there would be less polution and noise in the streets.
People should collect rubbish from the streets. The council should start a campaign at school. Students should spend one day each year on picking rubbish on the streets.
The council should also give huge fines to factories which pollute the air and water.
