Dear Diary!
Most mornings when I wake up, I think I'm dreaming. I suppose this is like the longest and best holiday ever! I'm in the United States at the moment, visiting the Grand Canyon for two weeks. The scenery is beautiful and the weather is, too. When I look outside I can sometimes see bears walking around. This is the first place on my round-the-world trip. I'm also planning to spend some time in Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, India and Egypt. Wow! No work for six months, just lots of wonderful places and great activities like bungee jumping, windsurfing, diving, sailing, and sandboarding. This was my eighteenth birthday present from my mum and dad - as well as a new sports car to drive when I get home.
